MATIKON: Premium car ornaments built in Industrial Park Brasov

As of 2025, Matikon has taken over NBHX Trim, a global leader in innovative automotive interior materials. NBHX Rolem has located one of its strategic units in Ghimbav, within Industrial Park Brasov. Since the start of operations in 2017, the collaboration has been based on respect, trust and flexibility, turning the industrial park into a strategic partner for the company.

Precision manufacturing and high-end innovation

The Ghimbav facility produces premium car trims in a variety of materials - natural veneer, wood, aluminum, carbon, lacquered plastic, textiles or leather - for top manufacturers such as Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW, Porsche, Volvo and Jaguar Land Rover. In 2024, the company started expanding capacity by a further 12,000 m², equipped with automated high-gloss and matt lacquering lines, injection machines and vertical storage, reinforced by a strong automation and sustainability approach (source:  journalnews.ro).
